Give this item to those who ussualy get Ring Of Basilus in early game, and in melee form (not ranged hero). This item also allow you to get another orb item since lifesteal is aura.

I love to use Mask of madness on Beastmaster, Vlad on Meepo and Helm on Luna.
MoM on Rexxar is overkill, since he already has 3rd skill and a slow from his summons. Unlike Sven, he does not have extra armor to cover MoM’s penalty. SnY will do far better than MoM. I also don’t understand why some people get HoD and did not fully utilize it, I mean using the Dominate skill. It’s a great skill, you can get a 2 second AOE stunner with Chaos attack from the neutral camps…

if i make helm of dominator and mask of madness on sniper, will this give me 35% lifesteal?

Sorry but i don’t agree on you with Troll using vladimirs because there would be no lifesteal if he switch to range, Dominator is the best lifesteal for Troll and there are some considerations when choosing the right lifesteal for a specific hero.

mask of madness is for heroes that have passive abilities and chances(like sniper,void and maybe sladar)helm of dominator is for those with low health,want more demage for last hit and for those who want to make satanic after and vladimir is for meelee heroes that need some lifesteal but they need some other orb effect items(like riki it needs lifesteal but have to make diffusal)
