Magnus The Magnataur
I. Introduction
Hello again for you all, after so long not write anything in this blog, i try to put another interesting hero guide. Who don’t know magnus? he is a great initiator, great nuker, high damage hero, also a tanker. He acts not like another initiator like Raigor, or Rooftrellen. And surely he is a different hero compared to Sandking, and Centaur. What’s the different? See this guide further

III. Strategy
Using magnus could be easy but depend on the enemy. One thing you should do is nuke and farm. Try to use Shockwave to farm and harass. Don’t too hurry to get kill, you play as a initiator in the game in your team. Once you get your Dagger, play around and help other for killing.
Early Game focusing on harass and farm, once you get level 6 or 7, see your enemy, if below half bar, do Reverse + Shockwave. I have 2 suggestion early game item. Either get Ring Of Basillus and some tango and Clarity Pot or rush early ring of health first.
OR

Middle games should be an easier game for you if you have dagger. I say easier for you if your teammate can do their job well too. If not, prepare for early rush since you can’t wreck the battle with your reverse polarity. I suggest in level 9 or 10 you should get dagger. The fastest time i get dagger in my life is in level 8. Magnus can skip boots to buy it later since he has fast movement speed. If i’m not mistaken it’s 325 or 315. But if you have more money, feel free.

Remember you must come as an initiator in battle, save your mana above 300 since reverse polarity mana cost is higher than other initiator skill. Your next item could be battlefury if you have more money to do so. Try to get BF below level 16. It shouldn’t hard for Magnus since he can farm like crazy with Shockwave, than 1 or 2 whack then you get all those creep.

Late game is about to pushing. Two things that should be remember. Don’t come first, in this time you need to predict, where you should move and cast Reverse. Because if you let go 1 or 2 enemy, they could crash your plan. You should focusing on enemy AoE dealer like Nevermore, Leviathan, Rooftrellen and kill them before they use their Ultimate to wreck you. I don’t think Magnus should have BKB. Nothing can stop you to cast Reverse Polarity, no Animation like Epicenter when cast Reverse so BKB is no use. Refresher is a good idea but you dont have enough mana. I only suggest Refresher if it’s very very long game and you need more 4 seconds again to disable them. Buriza and Assault Cuirass could be the best item in this time. Critical splashed and more aspd, more chance to do critical. Empower hurts too in this case.

I don’t like to give orb effect on magnus attack, since i don’t what should i give for him. Satanic will be the best since it gives him high hp boost, lifesteal, and more attack. So final item should be

IV. Counter And Easy Target
Easy Target : Hero with no escape mechanism. Easy to kill and surely no waste ultimate.
Counter : Silencer and Stuner. Big problem since dagger count as skill and last word trigger if there is Silencer (Nortrom). Now you jump to become an enemy food.
V. Conclusion
1. Always be an initiator in the game and predict the best position to cast RP
2. Nothing can stop you when you want to cast RP. No animation cancelling
3. Don’t doubt to cast Shockwave to harass, kill, and farming.
4. Give Empower to your teammate which need high base damage like Sven, Troll etc.
5. Take STATS in level 2 and 4. It gives more benefit than other skills.
Screenie later, i’ve captured them, but i have a hard time to convert mass image.
